After
releasing their single ‘A Tick Ahead’ in January and their latest single ‘Take
What You Want’ released Summer 2015, Poor Frisco are ready to release their
forthcoming debut album and I can confidently tell you, it’s quite the dinner-bringer.
Every
review so far for the East Kilbride band has been sparkling such as them being
described as “a tight and melodious band set firmly in the classic indie rock
mould.” Their track ‘Take What You Want’ was praised as "Great vocal work,
top notch guitars and a catchy beat”.
Poor
Frisco have quite a reputable influence list including The Pixies, The Shins
and The Jesus and Mary Chain which from listening to the album you can hear
veins of these bands come out in heavy drums and their 90's punk-like, fuzzy
alt-pop guitar riffs.
Poor
Frisco’s debut album, ‘Sheep’s Clothing’ is set for release on 13 November
2015.
