The Sherlocks - Escapade

Once again, yet another export from Sheffield. The Sherlocks are a four piece band made up of two sets of brothers creating original music slightly reminiscent of early Arctic Monkeys, back in the Humbug days. They describe themselves as a mixture of 'The Libertines', 'The Jam' and the 'Arctic Monkeys'. The Sherlocks have toured relentlessly over the time they have been together and with another tour set for 2015 and a recent new single release there are no signs of The Sherlocks slowing down any time soon.

After bursting on to the scene with their debut single 'Live For The Moment' The Sherlocks have done it again with their new release 'Escapade'. After releasing the single on the 16th February 'Escapade' is blasting it's way into the Top 40.

Having supported bands such as Twisted Wheel, The Buzzcocks and The Enemy it's about time that The Sherlocks went on their own venture and with 'Escapade'  nuzzling itself into the charts and with the band headlining The Leadmill on the 20th June 2015, it's looking likely that The Sherlocks are going to be a band in many an alternative music lover's ears.

There are rumours of more singles on the way from The Sherlocks and I'm sure an album isn't too far in the future either. If the forthcoming singles are to the same caliber as 'Live For The Moment' and 'Escapade' then The Sherlocks are definitely heading towards a prosperous future.
